Dreamily beautiful, highly exceptional, and very rare set of four “Pan” dining chairs by Vico Magistretti, made of ebonized/blackened ash wood and leather for Rosenthal Einrichtung, Germany, 1980s.
In the 1970s, Rosenthal—known as one of the world’s outstanding porcelain manufacturers—decided to commission several pieces of furniture from renowned designers and have them produced by prestigious Italian furniture manufacturers, marketing them under the label Rosenthal Einrichtung.
This resulted in a number of design icons of the 1970s and 1980s, including the “Pan” collection.
